Full steam ahead! Having been renowned in Tenterden since the beginning of the 20th century, the Kent Steam Railway line runs 10.5 miles from Bodiam Castle in East Sussex to Tenterden.
Known for its excellent wines, Chapel Down is located in the beautiful Kent countryside and is one of England's leading wine producers. It is open to visitors throughout the year for guided tours to learn about the English grape harvest.
Having been established in 1969, Biddenden is Kent’s original Vineyard. Open to the public throughout the year, with free admission and tastings, there is a self-guided tour route around the vines for you to take a stroll at your leisure.
Since opening in 1976, Tenterden Museum is run entirely by volunteers. It’s housed in a two-storey weather-boarded building, one of the last representatives in Tenterden of a type of industrial building common in the area in the latter part of the 19th century.
